A regular at the Fiesta, Toko-ton Taiko will be back again this year to wow fiesta-goers with their traditional, authentic, rhythmic, fluid and energetic experience of Japanese culture. The Sahara Dance Company will be bringing the sights and sounds of Egypt. A leading professional Middle Eastern Dance troupe in Queensland, you'll see why at this year's Fiesta, they present a high energy and colourful performance. They'll also be getting the audience up to give belly dancing a go. Don't miss this fun experience.
Canta La Tumba will be taking to the stage in the musical traditions of The Buena Vista Social Cub and elements of Cuban Jazz. This amazing event is facilitated and coordinated by not-for-profit, self-funded Multicultural Association of Caboolture and Surrounds Inc. (MACS Inc.). Run by a small number of volunteers, MACS Inc, as they are more widely known, exists to unite culturally diverse people, increase cultural awareness, bridge gaps in generation, culture and other social issues and build capacity in people via education, training and mentorship. Their mission is to promote the harmonious co-existence of diverse cultures. The Fiesta is a prime example of their dedication, passion and hard work, to put on all the fun of the fare for the wider community to enjoy, so be sure to do just that and have a fun day!
