Showcasing talent, food and culture & free entertainment

The first day of the month of September (Saturday 1 September 2018 from 3-7pm) is having a good start with the Moreton Bay Multicultural Fiesta taking over the Caboolture Town Square on King Street, Caboolture. Proudly brought to you by the Multicultural Association of Caboolture and Surrounds Inc. and supported by Moreton Bay Regional Council, a Gold Coin Entry will open the gates to a day of jam packed celebrations of our multicultural society, free entertainment, cultural stalls, traditional dances and so much more.

What's not to love for a great day out of family fun. There's a lot of FREEBIES, to name a few; cultural entertainment from around the world, jumping castle, kids crafts, henna tattoos, and an all ages colouring in tables. There are other great fun things that'll put a smile on your face like the fun photo booth with props, petting zoo, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4, food trucks and stalls to tantalise your taste buds, a 'guess how many jellybeans' competition with an awesome family prize package, market stalls, and more. Stay in touch for updates via the Event Discussion page. Bring lots of gold coins as some activities are a gold coin donation.

It's competition time and thanks to prize sponsor Ocean View Estates, Fiesta goers get a chance to WIN dinner for two at the breathtaking Ocean View Estates in the Moreton Bay Reion in the hills of Mt. Mee, so start getting into it. There's only a couple of weeks left to enter for a dinner valued at $130. Enter away! Here's another you can be in with a chance for. Another competition from prize sponsor the Wheel of Brisbane; giving fiesta goers a chance to WIN a family pass to the Wheel of Brisbane! With just a couple of weeks to go, enter the competition now!

You could say the 'guess how many jellybeans are in this jar?' is another worthy competition with a fantastic ULTIMATE family fun package prize for the correct guess, that includes family passes to -
Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World
Caboolture Historical Village
Bellingham Maze
Abbey Museum
Bribie Island Butterfly House
Morayfield Cinemas
Blast Aqua Park Coolum passes
Inflatable World Caboolture Kids Party Package worth $195
PLUS a few other little extras!! WOW! Good luck guessing!

A regular at the Fiesta, Toko-ton Taiko will be back again this year to wow fiesta-goers with their traditional, authentic, rhythmic, fluid and energetic experience of Japanese culture. The Sahara Dance Company will be bringing the sights and sounds of Egypt. A leading professional Middle Eastern Dance troupe in Queensland, you'll see why at this year's Fiesta, they present a high energy and colourful performance. They'll also be getting the audience up to give belly dancing a go. Don't miss this fun experience.

Canta La Tumba will be taking to the stage in the musical traditions of The Buena Vista Social Cub and elements of Cuban Jazz. Canta La Tumba captures the haunting and playful vibe of the Havana Bar and Cafe Scene. This is but a smattering of what's in store at the Fiesta. Follow them on Facebook to stay in the loop.

This amazing event is facilitated and coordinated by not-for-profit, self-funded Multicultural Association of Caboolture and Surrounds Inc. (MACS Inc.). Run by a small number of volunteers, MACS Inc, as they are more widely known, exists to unite culturally diverse people, increase cultural awareness, bridge gaps in generation, culture and other social issues and build capacity in people via education, training and mentorship. Their mission is to promote the harmonious co-existence of diverse cultures. The Fiesta is a prime example of their dedication, passion and hard work, to put on all the fun of the fare for the wider community to enjoy, so be sure to do just that and have a fun day!
