Grey nomads, families, boating and 4WD lovers will enjoy this weekend of browsing the exhibitor stalls, testing products and talking to professionals.
Open from 9am to 5pm Friday and Saturday, and 9am to 4pm on Sunday, there is plenty to interest the outdoors person at this expo. Summer is still going, and the days are beautiful and warm. What better reason to buy a new caravan, campavan or 4WD? As if you needed a reason! The Caravan Camping Boating and 4x4 Expo might just give you ideas for that can't live without piece of camping or caravaning equipment that you didn't know you needed, but now have to have.
Over 150 exhibitors offering everything from fishing rods to solar panels to diff locks and bamboo pillows will ensure everyone finds something of interest. An extensive array of the latest in boats, caravans, campavans and camping equipment showcases the best of new products.
If you're in need of some light entertainment to break the routine of exhibitor stand after exhibitor stand, the expo has you covered. Stunt motorbike riding, 4X4 test track, fishing demonstrations and a reptile show. At 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm come along to meet Coast 2 Coast's Scott Hillier, and at 10am, 12pm and 2pm the Free Ranging Chef Peter Wolfe gives cooking demonstrations.
With lots of competitions and prizes on offer visitors have a great chance to win big.
The expo is on at the Redcliffe Showgrounds, Scarborough Road, & Portwood Street, Redcliffe from 19 to 21 February 2016. Adults are $10, Seniors are $8 and a child with an adult is free. Free return passes are available. Note no dogs or pets allowed.
