Did you know that every child is born with great creative prowess? Children love to get creative (and messy!) which is why painting, drawing and sculpting is the ideal way to help develop your child's creativity and imagination!

Artistic expression is a cornerstone of childhood development and many studies have shown that art education promotes critical thinking skills, fosters creativity and boosts self-esteem. And if you equip your child with the ability to paint and draw - it opens up a big door for independent play!

Just imagine, as your child discovers the sensation and texture of paint, pastels and clay on their little hands and experiments with different pressures, strokes and motions - they will also be enhancing their fine motor skills and learning a new way to communicate their inner thoughts and feelings!



Helping to unleash your child's creativity is Les Petits Painters in Chatswood, Willoughby. The passionate Les Petits Painters team, led by Teresa, a talented artist who also has experience teaching children from Kindergarten to Year 5, is dedicated to motivating and inspiring children to love art in all its wonderful forms!

The interactive and hands-on classes are held in an encouraging and inviting setting and will be filled with many 'Aha!' moments as children realise they are creating an image - all by themselves!

In the classes, children will be taught:

By learning to identify and draw various shapes and patterns and choose colours and lines, children will be engaging in developmental life skills such as decision-making and critical thinking.

It's also a great social activity where children create alongside one another and are sure to inspire each other!
