When a sub-tropical region has access to mobile outdoor movie theatres that can be set up indoors or outdoors, the appeal and popularity of pop-up movies, makes perfect sense to me. Who wouldn't want to be outdoors on a starry, starry night, picnic hamper open with mouth-watering delicacies, an icy cold beverage in hand - your very own Gold Class movie experience!
I am looking forward to the Mooloolaba Summer Beach Movie Series on the beach in Mooloolaba, starting this Saturday 8 December with the classic 'Mamma Mia!'. I am also very happy to share with you the discovery of more outdoor movies in and around the Sunshine Coast.
Make sure you get to the venue/s early and organise a perfect viewing spot to set up your picnic blankets and picnics, as they are certainly going to be very popular with an entry fee of either a gold coin donation or FREE. From Cooroy to Coolum to Nambour, these outdoor movies are all in date order - easier to mark your calendars that way.
🎭 Friday 7 December | 6.30pm to 8.30pm Cooroy Library Rooftop, Maple Street, Cooroy Polar Express Entry: Gold coin donation

Thriving Families* is a community based family support programme in Nambour Community Centre, who believe that community-based support is all about being connected to local families, during the good times and during the bad times. Thriving Families work with parents in their role as parents and help build social connections with families, by looking after each other.

Bookmark the dates, dear readers, one never knows when one might be able to squeeze in an outdoor movie or three over the festive season. I certainly don't want to miss out on an opportunity of enjoying my very own Gold Class experience, in the great outdoors.
