Roar with the Lions and save at the Salvos
Surprisingly there are only two op shops in Mooroolbark, far enough apart as to not be in direct competition with each other. Perhaps it's a sign of the times but both shops are not accepting donations at the moment.

Saturday: 9.00am – 12.00 noon

The Lions shop front

The Lions Club of Mooroolbark operate this op shop at 50 Manchester Road. It is not a large shop, but its tightly packed rows of goodies display a large range of items. They have a range of women's shoes that would make Imelda Marcos envious.

Part of the clothing range.

Proceeds from the shop go towards the many local community projects that the Lions support.

91 Brice Avenue
Hours: Monday-Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm
Saturday: 10.00am – 1.00pm

The Salvation Army's Mooroolbark op shop is quite large, spread out over several rooms. Consequently the merchandise is not cramped or crowded. Every turn in the shop presents a different range goodies, all of a high quality.

The open and bright front display.

Everyone knows of the good work the Salvos do in the community and the Mooroolbark shop assists in that work.

Both op shops are staffed by volunteers and they are always good for a friendly chat.
