If you are super sun smart you will love this park. It is filled with huge magnificent old trees. Space in the shade is abundant.
Although it is right on Ipswich Road the trees hide the busyness and traffic.

Not only is it a pretty park, it has a really cute playground with a car theme. I imagine many a little boy has a ball revving up the vehicles that decorate the equipment.

There is a also a large clean electric barbecue with taps and seating in the shade of the trees or under cover.

Officially called the it is on the corner of Gow Street and Ipswich Road.

Moolabin Creek runs along the back of the park so you could explore that too if you're feeling adventurous.

There is plenty of space for a rowdy game of footy or cricket or just to run about. Much of the park is fenced for safety but there are gaps.
