A true multi-cultural festival in Brisbane's little Africa
Moorooka, one of Brisbane's great multicultural suburbs is set to celebrate on Saturday May 23 from 11 am until the evening. This will be a day of music, art, crafts, food, workshops, children's activities and much more.
Moorooka styles itself as Brisbane's African Village with a large number of African restaurants, grocery stores and shops. Moorooka though is a multi-cultural suburb with shops and restaurants from other countries, especially the middle east.
The Moorooka festival is a muli-cultural festival with of course a heavy emphasis on African and Middle Eastern culture, but that is only the start as there will be many varied performances and activities.
