Moora Park boasts an impressive wooden playground overlooking the beach and the historic Shorncliffe Pier. Children of all ages will enjoy the multi-tier playground, resembling a series of cheerful, raised tree houses. These are connected by ramps, bridges and sets of stairs. The playground itself is built into the contours of the landscape and is incorporated within the surrounding gardens.

Other play elements include several slides, a swing set and assorted rockers. Several brightly coloured sculptures provide further aesthetic appeal and are ideal for younger children to practise climbing.

Although there are several picnic tables and chairs, this location is quite popular during weekends and school holidays. It is advisable to arrive earlier or to bring your own gazebo.

The beach area is sheltered by a long rock wall and the Shorncliffe Pier. This section of beach is great for exploration during low tide, with a multitude of shells and seaweed remaining along the sand.

Finally, the Shorncliffe Pier is an impressive 350m structure. Visitors can enjoy the views with a sheltered rest area, seating at regular intervals and a fishing pontoon at the very end.
