I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.
Located at the beach end of Hunter Street
Moor provides food full of flavours from Spain, North Africa and the Middle East. Dine outside under the blue awnings or amongst the eclectic decor of the interior.

Dine under the blue awning
Many of the
menu items are suitable for sharing. Moor is fully licensed and serves Australian and Spanish wines by the glass as well as the bottle. In addition to the standard menu, they have a specials blackboard and a great range of tasty baked treats to go with the delicious coffee.

Prawns, squid, chorizo & harissa
We lunched on a seafood & harissa couscous dish and koftas with a creamy hummus on warmed soft pita bread. The lamb was perfectly cooked, lightly spiced and I could have eaten a large bowl of the fresh zucchini salad alone. You order at the counter but the food is brought out to you. The atmosphere during the day is casual and relaxed and there were plenty of families and friends enjoying the social dining experience. I enjoy sitting outside so that I can watch the comings and goings of Hunter Street.

Koftas for lunch
The wait staff are happy and friendly and you are not hurried out after dining. I am looking forward to returning so that I can try some of the other tasty menu items.
