Day 1 – Thursday 13 June 2019
Fly from London Heathrow to Keflavik International Airport then board the coach and visit the Reykjanes Peninsula where you can take the Bridge Between the Two Continents to walk from the North American to the Eurasian plate.

Continue on through the Gunnuhver and Krysuvik geothermal fields to the Reykjavik City Airport for a short flight to the north east on your way to Hotel Sel on the shore of Lake Myvatn.

Day 2 – Friday 14 June 2019
After breakfast, in groups of around 30, visit the fishing centre of Husavik, for some whale watching. Lunch is followed by some retail therapy or perhaps shout yourself a visit to the whale museum.

The afternoon tour around Lake Myvatn with its volcanic formations, boiling mud pools and bird life will astound. As will the breathtaking views as you stroll around the volcanic crater rim – totally exhilarating.

Day 3 – Saturday 15 June 2019
Re-join your group and visit the breathtaking, Dettifoss, the most powerful waterfall in Europe, and the Asbyrgi Canyon and Jokulsa River.

Then the MoonWalk begins!
Start the evening at the Pre-Challenge Tactics Talk, then on to the Pasta Party and then take the transfer to the Nature Baths where the night's fun will start and finish.

The MoonWalk Iceland takes in the summer solstice and starts at midnight. You circle the spectacular Lake Myvatn with its stunning mirror-like reflections, volcanic scenery and lava rocks.

Day 4 – Sunday 16 June 2019
Cross the Finish Line some time on Sunday morning then, after a delicious breakfast, head for the hotel and a well-deserved massage to soothe those strained and tired muscles. Then rest up before the afternoon's fun.

Take Afternoon Tea and join the others chatting, sharing and reliving the enjoyment of the occasion. The Farewell Celebration Dinner; a feast on many local delicacies, is a fitting end to the celebrations.

Day 5 – Monday 17 June 2019
Off to the airport in time for your flight to Reykjavik and a chance to relax, explore and shop. Reykjavik is the world's most northern capital, crammed with Viking history, charming and quirky museums, wonderful shopping and, not to mention, its captivating landscape.

Day 6 – Tuesday 18 June 2019
Finally, the day for your return home. But it's not over yet; you've time to spend at the famous Blue Lagoon. Soak up the mineral waters and let the steam help you unwind and relax before the trip home.

At 9.45am transfer to Keflavik Airport where you will depart at 12.30pm returning to Heathrow around 4.30pm.
