This Friday, grab a pillow and blanket and head to Marrickville High School for an early screening of the cult comedy classic, The Princess Bride.

Suitable for all ages, there are prizes for best costume and premovie entertainment starting at 5pm. There will a disco and bubbles for the little ones, quote along and plenty of food and movie snacks. Never fear, there will be vegetarian options available too.

The actual movie starts at 6.30 and will finish just after 8. It's the perfect way to introduce the kids to this fabulous film.

Entry is through Centennial Street, and there is undercover areas so there's no need to let the rain put a damper on the fun. It is an all weather event.
