Facebook page.
The huge program of films includes advanced screenings of must-see films, top pics for award-season, a showcase of Australia's very best talents and a stack of new releases on offer. Catch up with friends, bond with family and kick back with a drink to enjoy films such as
Aquaman, Vice, Bad Times at the El Royale, Mission Impossible: Fallout, and
Crazy Rich Asians under the stars in picturesque parkland settings.
With Christmas on its way, it's no surprise that films like
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, The Grinch, and blockbusters like
Love Actually and
Elf, made the list. Family-friendly films allows you to enter the world of the Yeti in
Smallfoot, a superhero family in
Incredibles 2, magical moments in
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and last year's smash hit
The Greatest Showman.
The
must-see list ranges from side-splitting comedies to epic adventures through time, all the way to top contenders for award season. Only the very best will do at
Moonlight, so prepare for hilarity with
Holmes and Watson, the legendary thief
Robin Hood as you've never seen him before, a family friendly Transformer's spin-off,
Bumblebee, and
Mortal Engines from the team that brought life to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Australian cinematic talents take
centre-stage as they burst onto the screen with a heart-warming remake of the classic
Storm Boy; a 1950s Sydney with
Ladies in Black, and a star-studded
Boy Erased which is going to be gut-wrenching, when a young boy is forced into gay conversion therapy in the American South.
Make it an easy night out at this BYO (alcohol is not permitted at Brisbane's Moonlight Cinema) event that brings a festival atmosphere to film watching. Kick back, soak in the summer vibes and enjoy the onsite food truck offering up a licensed bar and a variety of delicious hot food and movie-going morsels to whet your appetite. Elevate the magic and treat yourself to Gold Grass for that A-List cinema experience. Reserved bean beds, premium viewing and wait service means you won't even have to get up from your bean bed.
