But the Moonlight Cinema is not just about the movies, it is about the environment which facilitates a picnic atmosphere. So why not make a night of it, and either bring your own favourite foods and drinks, or perhaps enjoy some great food, drink, ice creams or chocolate on offer from some of the local stalls or some of the wandering vendors.
For those looking to watch a movie in comfort, well here is your opportunity to make this your own. Bring your picnic rugs, cushions, blankets or low beach chairs and spread out on the lawns for a great night. Alternatively, if bringing equipment is not to your liking, then a limited number of Bean Beds are available for hire or you can upgrade your experience by purchasing a Gold Grass or Connoisseur Lounge ticket which comes complete with everything you need.

Being an outdoor cinema, the weather does play a significant part in the event and in most cases does not impact the experience. However, there are the occasional times when the weather turns very inclement and alternative arrangements are required. To keep up to date on any changes as a result of the weather, make sure you check the
Moonlight Cinema's facebook page for the latest updates.
Tickets start at $19 for adults ($17 in Brisbane), with discounts available for concession holders, students, children and families. Gold Grass tickets are $35 each.
