I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

A Room With A View
Head about one hour north of Sydney to enjoy a pleasant lunch dining at the Mooney Mooney Club. Just after crossing the Hawkesbury River exit the freeway on the left. The club is just on the other side of the freeway adjacent to the river.
There is plenty of parking and there is a courtesy bus that collects patrons from Hawkesbury River railway station and nearby Mooney and Brooklyn.
The club is relatively small by Sydney standards but the nicely decorated dining room is quite large and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Mooney Mooney Club appears to plays a large role in the local community and has quite a few promotions during the week.
There is an extensive menu that has something suitable for all tastes and dietary requirements. This makes it a great place to have a ladies long lunch.
The Barramundi fillet was cooked with crispy skin and served on sweet corn and lemon risotto it was delicious and filling. The other meals on our table looked appetizing and no one went hungry. It was tempting to linger on the deck chatting and admiring the view but commitments in Sydney beckoned.
