Celebrating its 34th year, the as always promises to be a fantastic fun day out for all. Expected to attract over 60,000 visitors, the festival showcases the best of what Moonee Valley has to offer with a business expo, health and well-being stalls, arts and crafts, carnival rides, four entertainment stages, an animal farm, belly dancing, community choirs, street performers, traditional dance troupes and a delicious range of food that captures the multiculturalism of the municipality.

For entertainment you can't go past the three festival stages. Comedian Jodie J. Hill is hosting the Simply Energy Main Stage where ARIA Award winning Australian band The Audreys will be performing along with break dance group Wickid Force, The Rhythmology Band, Brothers Crossing, Coby Grant and some soul and Motown from Sweethearts.

On the Hall's Taekwondo Kids Stage the kids will be kept captivated by children's entertainers The Kazoos, The Fun Magic Guy and the Mermazing Flymo.

The CityLink Community Stage will be hosting local talent such as the Essendon Choral Society, Tungsten Duo and the Celestial Tai Chi College.

Other highlights include:
• A champagne breakfast between 10am and 12pm
• Between 12 and 4pm enjoy a spot of free barefoot bowling at the Moonee Ponds Bowling Club with delicious Devonshire Teas on offer in their clubrooms
• Chef Troy Payne from the Post Office Hotel (Coburg) will be cooking up a storm along with members from local business Pip's Cooking School on the Cooking Demonstration Stage
• African drumming workshops
• A gold coin donation gains you entry to the Queens Park Swimming Pool where you can cool off and enjoy a free Slushie Sensation
• For information, talks and workshops on a greener lifestyle head to the City West Water Eco Village

And if all that wasn't enough, this year the festival is launching the Moonee Valley City Council's Leisure Challenge .

Get in early as a number of the stalls often have great deals on offer such as discounted gym memberships, show bags, taste testings and other freebies.

How to get there
Event organisers recommend public transport for getting to and from the festival. They are also offering bike parking in Council's car park on Kellaway Avenue. Free car parking in the area will be limited – you can try the Moonee Valley Racing Club (entry via the Members Car Park on McPherson Street, Melway Reference 28 K7).
