Once again the town of Toodyay steps back in time to celebrate the annual Moondyne Festival bringing the infamous Moondyne Joe and his various escapades to life.

Street Theatre will bring Joe and his gang wreaking havoc throughout the town of Toodyay whilst committing dastardly crimes. Joe may be found flaunting with the floozies, defying the tedious temperance ladies whilst trying to evade the local constabulary who are intent to lock him up and throw away the key.

Enjoy the re-enactment of the 1860 Rifle Regiment plus the grace and favour of the enchanting Clydesdale horses. With a variety of stalls, exhibitions, games and rides there is something for everyone at this family fun day.

The Moondyne Festival , finalist in the 2012 Perth Airport Events & Tourism Award and nominated for a 2013 Heritage Award is a wonderful display of life during the pioneer years.

Everyone is invited to dress in period costume for the day and truly get into the spirit of Moondyne. Make the bigger better and more enjoyable than ever. Go along have some fun and join in what promises to be a memorable day.

The Moondyne Festival Sunday is on the 5th May from 9.00am to 4.00pm all over the Toodyay town site. Entry is free.
