Melbourne has so much to offer. I love experiencing new places and events and sharing them with you. I have an interest in gluten free, vegan and vegetarian diets so I will let you know if you these can be catered for in my reviews.
Bright, colourful celebrations in Richmond
The community comes together, under one moon on September 22nd for the mid-autumn festival.

The Mooncake or Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhong Qiu Jie) is a day of family reunions when it is said to be the day of the fullest and roundest moon. This signifies great abundance and completion of a cycle. A time not only for celebrations, but a time to give thanks and plan for the future.

Join in the fun in Richmond this year! There will be colourful bright performances of dance and music and the traditional moon lantern parade.

Traditionally a time for matchmaking - is there a chance you will get more than mooncakes at this year's event?

Great fun for children and adults alike.
