The wait is almost over for locals and holidaymakers to be amongst some of the very first to experience the Sunshine Coast's most exciting new beachfront parkland. Mooloolaba's Northern Parkland is opening in time for the Queensland school holidays and to celebrate the opening, everyone is invited to come together to enjoy the huge, free community event, the
Mooloolaba Foreshore Festival.

Inspired by all things in, on and under the sea, the Mooloolaba Foreshore Festival will feature the latest parkland additions including an epic adventure playground, oceanfront picnic and barbecue areas as well as sensational viewing decks for all those magical photo moments.
At '
Ocean Alley' on the Esplanade, there will be ocean displays and workshops, delicious food, free rides and face painting and heaps of activities for everyone to enjoy. Book a table to dine in at one of the popular esplanade cafes and/or restaurants or 'bring your own' picnic, spread a rug on a new grass patch and enjoy a beautiful winter sunset.
