Christmas Eve Celebrations @ Mooloolaba
We all know Santa Claus knows his way around a sleigh - but what about a surf boat? Jolly Old Saint Nick will make an impressive entrance to the Sunshine Coast on Christmas Eve - not from the skies but from the sea. Before his mammoth flight around the world later that night - Santa will be dropping by Mooloolaba Beach to greet the kids.
Cheeky Santa - he's squeezing one last visit to Mooloolaba Beach before Christmas Day!
This has become somewhat of a tradition over the past few years - hundreds of people have turned out in the past to meet Santa. This year he's come prepared. If you're on the nice list then Santa's got some delicious goodies for you to take home.
To top off the night - there will even be a fireworks display. It's sure to get everyone ready for what's sure to be a cracking New Year's Eve down at Mooloolaba just a week later.
It's easy to see why Santa likes to holiday at Mooloolaba.
Santa usually makes his grand entrance about 6pm just outside the Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club with the fireworks following an hour later. Also, don't be shy - Santa loves to meet all the boys and girls and will never say no to one last photo.
