What Might You See Looking Out From Mooloolaba Beach? A Sailing Boat or Luxury Liner, a Whale or a Bird
First and foremost you will readily see a vast view of the Pacific Ocean whose water and waves are home for many sea creatures. Please give them a thought as you gaze over their deep salty abode – the squids, dolphins, whales, coral, stingrays, sea horses and so many more.
To the south you can easily see Point Cartwright with its lighthouse and large painted water tank. Looking north you'll spot children exploring the rock pools and every weekend one can admire the formally dressed wedding parties posing for their ocean side photos.
You should also see a variety of sea-going vessels – from yachts released from their river births to skim the surface, to fishing boats or a whale watching vessel, hobby craft and freight ships hauling their cargoes along the coast. Sometimes you might even spy one of those huge luxury ocean liners moored to unload their passengers to explore the trendy shops and cafes.
Occasionally you might sight a pod of dolphins or the odd whale – I have but they were beyond the scope of my lens. And don't forget the variety of bird life that glide across the endless sky sparsely decorated by curious cloud formations. Some claim they can see New Zealand, but I rather doubt that. But with such a bountiful vast blue space it's easy to let ones imagination cut loose. Give your self a break and see what you can spot as you gaze out to sea from the Mooloolaba Beach?
