Mooloolaba Beach Cafe

Going out for breakfast or lunch in a tourist town such as
Mooloolaba is a real luxury. But we can't always dine at the most expensive cafe in town. You need a cheap but good cafe for those days when the purse strings are a little bit tighter. That's where
comes in.
Most recently I went in for the full breakfast ($13) - eggs (of your choice), rashers of bacon, chipolota sausages, grilled tomato and toast (white or multigrain). This is the typical meal I usually order when out for breakfast and this has to be the cheapest 'big breakfast' I've got. Having said that, it's not as spectacular as the dearer options out there.
My partner went for Eggs Benedict ($11) - poached eggs on a toasted English muffin, grilled tomato and a side of hollandaise sauce. There was also an option to add ham ($1) or salmon ($2). She was of the same opinion as me - you get what you paid for. A nice touch was arranging the meal in the shape of a smiling face.
My other favourite breakfast item has to be the bowl of muesli ($8.50) with added fruit (50c) and yoghurt (50c). This was another top choice and one of the cheapest items on the menu along with the bacon and egg roll ($7), BLT ($7), pancakes ($10) or or even fruit salad ($5).
The lunch menu is just as cheap. Hot meals filling out the menu are the steak sandwich ($8.50), lamb burger ($8.50) and the quiche ($6), just to name a few. There's also the option to create your own salad, sandwich, wrap or roll. Choose from ham, chicken, tuna or salmon to mix in with salads including lettuce, beetroot, cucumber, avocado and more.
isn't the fanciest option for breakfast, lunch or coffee that Mooloolaba has to offer but it has to be one of the cheapest. Great place to go if you've got a few people to pay for. Enjoy the meal and when you're done run over the road for a swim and sunbake at the beach.
