The critically-acclaimed smash hit musical-comedy Monty Python's Spamalot comes to The Showroom at Hornsby RSL for a strictly limited season this Winter. Tickets are now on sale!
Proudly presented by Sydney Youth Musical Theatre (SYMT), Monty Python's Spamalot was written by Eric Idle and 'lovingly rips off' the1975 cult classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
The original production premiered on Broadway in 2005 and went on to win three Tony Awards, including 'Best Musical of the 2004–2005 season'.
A wickedly funny retelling of the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Monty Python's Spamalot takes the audience on a wild ride with beautiful dancing girls, a flatulent Frenchman, killer rabbits and the Knights who say Ni! It's a musical comedy of preposterous proportions which is bound to have you rolling in the aisles! Don't miss it!
The upcoming SYMT production is directed by Adam Haynes with Production Manager Chrissy Stimson, Musical Director Francis Voon, Choreographer Melissa Ayers, Assistant Director Harry Baxter, Assistant Choreographer Matilda Bromley, Set Designers Matt Hourigan and Bruce Bartle, Lighting Designer Evan Jones and Costume Designers Donna Paul and Karen Smith.
