A bevy of beautiful show girls, cows, killer rabbits, and a flatulent Frenchman all feature in Monty Python's Spamalot, which plays at Koorliny Arts Centre from September 2-17, 2016.

The musical comedy is lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail and retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

The classic legend tells of King Arthur and his knights' quest to find the Holy Grail, but the musical diverts a bit from more traditional versions of the legend when the grail-seekers meet Lady of the Lake, Prince Herbert, Tim the Enchanter, Not Dead Fred, the Black Knight and the Knights who say Ni. Did we mention that this all takes place during a plague with a 50% chance of pestilence and famine?

Director Jethro Pidd recommends the show for "Anyone with a sense of humour, Monty Python fans and anyone who likes the smell of cats."

He describes Spamalot as a thought-provoking show that will lead audiences to wonder, "Why didn't I bring a change of underwear? How many swallows does it take to carry a coconut?"

Spamalot is the final production in the Koorliny Arts Centre and Kwinana Industries Centre 2016 Performance Season.

Tickets cost $18-25 and are available here or by calling the Box Office on (08) 9467 7118.

Koorliny Arts Centre is on Sulphur Road in Kwinana.
