Readers might recall that as recently as July, the Montville Christmas Wonderland celebrated Christmas in July, inviting the public to enjoy the delights of Christmas, with memory-making displays of everything Christmassy - a true Santa wonderland!
We are truly blessed that the Montville Christmas Wonderland's spectacular weatherproof display is once again opening up to the public for the 2019 Christmas season, offering only twenty-three, two hour sessions in the lead up to Christmas. Visitor numbers are limited for every session, with entry exclusively for ticket holders.
The Montville Christmas Wonderland is housed in a 280 square metre building and has two display sections. The first part displays a miniature village, which includes extensive Christmas carnival, Disney, Lego, shops, homes, The Grinch, National Lampoons, snow slopes with skiers, three trains and a working gondola.
The second part of the Montville Christmas Wonderland display is the 'outside' display (all indoors), which includes two gardens - an Aussie garden and a Fantasy garden - the bauble walkway, Australian Christmas display, large nativity, horse and carriage, light fountain and snow cave.
Santa and his photo-opportunity reindeer, enhance the fabulous Montville Christmas Wonderland display with a large sleigh, as well as Santa's toy workshop. Take yourself off to Christmas celebrations in towns and cities all around the world, as depicted in the personally captured photos by owners, Judy and Graham Lumley, also Brisbane Christmas light display award winners.
For Christmas 2019, the Montville Christmas Wonderland will be having their very own Christmas Market, offering visitors a large range of Christmas merchandise and gifts to purchase. A variety of nibblies - popcorn, snow-cones, lollies, crisps, sweet treats - and coffee will also be available. Montville Christmas Wonderland organisers are also running a Christmas Pop Culture Competition, with a two night weekend stay at Kookaburra Cottage (value $500) as the grand prize. To 'be in it, to win it' make sure you visit the Montville Christmas Wonderland over the festive season.
