Who doesn't love Christmas? Whether you are a one year old toddler or a one hundred and one year old 'young-at-heart', we ALL love Christmas! So, what better way to show our appreciation for the fabulous festive season than celebrating Christmas twice in a year, and we can do that with Christmas in July at the Montville Christmas Wonderland.

Brisbane Christmas light display award winners, Graham and Judy Lumley are once again opening their Christmas display in Montville during the month of July, allowing visitors to step into a Christmas Wonderland of fantastical colour and lights.

The Montville Christmas Wonderland weatherproof display is housed in a 280 square metre building and is displayed in two sections. The first part displays a miniature village, which includes extensive Christmas carnival, Disney, Lego, shops, homes, The Grinch, National Lampoons, snow slopes with skiers, three trains and a working gondola.

The second part of the Montville Christmas Wonderland display is the 'outside' display (all indoors), which includes two gardens - an Aussie garden and a Fantasy garden - the bauble walkway, Australian Christmas display, large nativity, horse and carriage, light fountain and snow cave.

The Montville Christmas Wonderland display is enhanced by a large sleigh with Santa and his reindeer for photo opportunities, as well as Santa's toy workshop. Look out for photos of Christmas celebrations in towns and cities all around the world - all personally captured by Judy and Graham.

According to Graham: "The most common question people ask us is, "Why do we do it?". The simple answer is that for a range of reasons nearly everyone loves the Christmas season and we feel that we can add to their enjoyment of the season by giving them something special to see. But more than that, we see this as a chance to display our Christian faith and communicate the real meaning of Christmas. So people will see Santa and reindeer and elves and snowmen and presents, etc in the display; but they will also see the baby Jesus and wise men and angels and shepherds, because at the end of the day the greatest wonder of Christmas is the significance of the birth of Jesus."

The Montville Christmas Wonderland is open every Saturday and Sunday in July from 2.00pm in the afternoon. Pre-arranged tour Groups to the Montville Christmas Wonderland are welcome on Thursdays - please call Judy or Graham, in advance, on 0412 787 920 to organise your special 'date' with Santa.
