Montsalvat Arts Festival is on again Sunday 16 September 2018 between 10am and 4pm. The day promises to be filled with something for young and old, including live music, theatre, open studios and workshops.
The packed program includes workshops for both adults and children on pottery, life drawing, casting and more. Try one out, you might find a new passion.
There will be "Meet the Artist Sessions" at the various exhibitions held throughout the day. The artists will be on hand to answer any questions you have and will be happy to provide you with information regarding their work.
You'll also be able to do a tour of beautiful Montsalvat, which was founded by Justus Jörgensen and is Australia's oldest artists' colony.

Montsalvat is set in 12 acres of beautiful gardens and the historic buildings include mud-brick cottages and the impressive Great Hall. This artists' community is a place where art is made and taught in all its forms. Montsalvat is located in Eltham approximately 21 km north-east of Melbourne.
