Monthly Tour - History of South Australia's First Settlers
The State Library of South Australia hosts several amazing events throughout the year; some are free and some require a small entry fee. The library is the keeper of South Australian stories, the culture and history of what has made South Australia the state it is today.

On Thursday 7th February 2019, the Library is hosting Salt In Your Eyes, which is the topic of the Library's Monthly Tour. Only ten spaces are available for each tour so registering for the event is essential. You can register up to fifteen minutes prior to each tour. Tours commence at 11am for one-hour duration and entry is free. Currently, there are six (6) spaces left for the February event, so get in quickly to register.
The tour will show you the excitement and the danger of the early sea voyages to South Australia, the start of the colony life there and the family experiences of the new Australians in a far-off country.
This event will be held in the Spence Wing of the State Library of South Australia, Level 1, North Terrace, Adelaide.
