Quirky pottery
Do NOT drive past!!

Between Multicap and the Service Station at 269 Padstow Rd Eight mile Plains is "Monte Lupo Pottery and Cafe."

Tucked back from the road is a welcoming cafe and gallery.

The shop is run by Multicap to support people with disabilities by helping them create pottery and mosaics and also to work in the shop.

What a wonderland of colour and styles. Bowls, mugs, and figurines are a feast for the eyes. The friendly staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed coffee and a florentine while I drooled over the gorgeous goodies for sale.

Glorious Pottery
A wide range of colourful pieces.

 Pottery
Shelf upon shelf of wonderful patterns and colours.

I totally fell in love with the Mosaic People dotted around the shop. They are so quirky and full of character. It'd be more like adoption than a purchase. I resisted on this visit, but I suspect I'll be returning after pay day!!

Lots of uniquely adorable people to adopt.

Isn't she irresistable?

I've heard of Monte Lupo but didn't know they were open to the public & made such beautiful items. Are they open on the weekend?
