is an ode to all that is weird and wonderful in the international cult cinema palette - horror, science fiction, fantasy, dark drama, black comedy, animation, and more. It is more than a film festival as it unites its audience as a community, fosters engagement, and a shared experience. The event runs in Melbourne from 4-12 October 2024 and in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth from 4-6 October 2024. If you're in Melbourne and a lover of all things cinema, you might enjoy the following package deals. There's the VIP Pass valid for 21 sessions, inclusive of Opening and Closing Night.

However, it cannot be used for multiple tickets to the same session or concurrent sessions. Other passes include the 10 film pass for $160 or the 5 for $90. All other states only have the VIP 8 Film Pass available to them if they're going for the package deal. As usual, has their Official Tee which you can order here . The program kicks off with The Rule of Jenny Pen in all states, one of the program highlights. A nasty tale of a former judge, our very own Geoffrey Rush, imprisoned in his own body after a stroke and left to the tender mercies of an elderly psychopath. Frankie Freako is the closing night film in the style of Gremlins 2 and Ghoulies 3: Ghoulies go to college. It's filled with slapstick violence, beer-related destruction of private property and a non-stop onslaught of bad-taste gags. It's an ode to the evil puppet movies.
