Are your kids getting bored with the same local bike tracks and looking for something more challenging? Why not take them to the Monster BMX and Mountain X Track at Sydney Olympic Park. Located at P5 parking off Hill Road, Sydney Olympic Park the tracks are conveniently situated side by side.

Monster BMX Track



The start mound looked pretty steep from the top but that didn't shy away the little ones! This BMX track is 306 metre long with plenty of jumps and bends making it all the more fun to ride.

Monster Mountain X Track



Starting from the same start mound but north-facing is the Mountain X track. My seven year old said that this track is 'more fun because it is trickier than the BMX track'. Once they rise up to the challenge and quickly learn to let momentum be their friend to navigate through the rolling hills and sharp bends, after a fall or two, they can complete the course easily with no falls at all.



Both tracks are for riders of all ages (although, recommended 10yrs and over) and skill levels from beginners and pros. The same tracks but a different experience – for more advanced riders, they are able to sustain momentum and flow through the track at higher speeds and perform jumps and tricks.

So parents, will you rise up to the challenge with your little ones?

Best yet – cost to use this facility is free. Parking fees apply for use of P5 parking.

There will be interrupted public access to the BMX Track for BMX club training and events. Click here for the link to the schedule of events dates.

Public access to the Mountain X track will be maintained from the first corner but no access from the Start Mound.

Look down and find the pink spots marking the 1.5m social distancing rule.



Have a great family day out, don't forget the helmets! long sleeves, long pants, and gloves also recommended for safe riding.
