Mono Show at the Civic Theatre

Mono is a three-person one-man show, written, produced and directed by Angus Fitzsimons of Senior Moments fame. Three comedic legends of Australian stage take turns being the "one-man" delivering their unique monologue. Noelene Brown , Max Gillies and John Wood become characters as diverse as a comical cleric, horrid headmistress and a babbling bush poet. My favourite characters were Noelene's drunken mother of the bride and John Wood's bush poet.



The ninety-minute show runs from the 1st of February until the 12th of March in regional theatres throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania. Tickets for each of these shows are available online subject to COVID-19 restrictions.



Mono is loaded with dad jokes, caricatures and physical humour and many audience members would be familiar with one or more of the characters.
