Everyone wants to do fun things, like go to amusement parks, go for a lovely dinner or even go for a lovely massage. However it is very hard to do these things when you are struggling for money.
My boyfriend and I have decided that every other weekend we must go on an outing or do some sort of activity, so that we have time to bond and have fun - but it must be free!
At first we found it quite a challenge; however over time we have developed skills to turn expensive situations around.
One of our favourites is baking. Everyone has stuff in their cupboards that they end up not using, and in the end that will also go to waste. So why not use these foods and bake a loaf of bread or something scrummy for your other half.
Another favourite of mine is massages. Everyone loves a massage, so why don't you and your partner take it in turns to give one another a massage. This does not only save money, but does also helps to bond you together.
Why don't you try joining in with community events including sports, art events, reading reviews etc. This will not only help to fill your weekend with exciting experiences, but will also help you to build relationship and create a tighter bonds with others in your community.
But it doesn't stop there!
Why not try:
play board games/cards
sort out bills
going to a museum
going to the library
learning a language
make your home an artistic paradise and start painting or knitting
find stuff for a car-boot sale
Why not try doing this and see how much you can save!
You might be very surprised.
