Nothing sounds more wonderful than high tea and an afternoon at the gallery, which is what the National Gallery of Australia is offering with Monet's Tea Salon. From Friday the 7th of June to Sunday the 21st of July 2019, the gallery will be serving high tea in honour of their new exhibition.
High tea will consist of petit delicate savoury morsels, freshly baked buttermilk scones and a collection of delicious sweet treats including Lemon curd tart, Chocolate eclair, Candied macaron, Raspberry and pistachio opera cake and Strawberry crème profiterole.
As well as a Monet's Tea Salon standard sitting, tickets also include entry into the NGA's newest exhibition Monet: Impression Sunrise. This exhibition will feature world-famous pieces from the Musée Marmottan Monet, a Gallery in Paris. The pieces showcased will include the 1872 work Impression, Sunrise by Claude Monet that coined the name of the popular art movement.
Monet's Tea Salon is an event for any art lover or foodie not to miss out on!
