Have you ever been so captivated by a painting that you stare at it until your vision blurs? Your eyes dance around each brush stroke in such wonder that you imagine yourself climbing into the frame. MONET IN PARIS is offering just that, a 360-degree immersion into Monet's world. Using large scale projections of dramatic light, colour and sound, the masterpieces of the great Impressionists come to life at the Le Grand Palais, Northshore Brisbane, Hamilton. Commencing Wednesday 7th of June through to Sunday 6th August 2023 you have an opportunity to walk alongside the genius of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul C e9zanne, Edgar Degas and many more.



I was delighted to attend a preview of this unique event last Tuesday evening 6th of June. The experience was well worthy of a winter venture out and had me smiling from ear to ear. The creative capacity of some mere mortals is forever wondrous to me. On display was not only this well-known Master of Art but also the vision and artistry of the set designers, lighting and sound crew of this inspiring exhibition.


They have achieved this using SENSORY4, a unique system that combines multichannel motion graphics and cinema-quality surround sound to provide some of the most exhilarating multiscreen environments in the world. Detailed images flow through a mass of projectors and merge with digital surround sound and include aromas to saturate the space in an immersive display. It was simply beautiful.

I am partial to Renoir and Monet, however, strolling through the spectrum of colour in the minds of all the greats is a real insight into the life and times of the 19th century. I should warn you that you may leave this immersive experience feeling the need to plan another trip to Europe soon.

Friday nights from 6pm starting 23rd June Le Grand Palais comes alive bursting with culture art and entertainment featuring DJ's, live performance artists, specialty cocktails and activations to allow your creativity to flow.
PAINT LIKE MONET PACKAGE
Time to let your creative juices flow and take your place in front of your easel. With Champagne courage and paintbrush in one hand, this is a no-experience necessary experience.

Two (2) Entries into the Monet in Paris Experience
Two (2) Glasses of Champagne de Saint-Gall Premier Cru (or a tipple of your choice)
A two-hour session is allocated for painting your masterpiece with guidance, including all supplies.

I recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure you get the session time you desire.
