'Come said the boy' and rock again
You hear it and you are instantly seventeen again at the school formal or the local pub, you're in your first car driving to the Gold Coast Come said the boy let's go down to the sand.

The original Aussie rockers, Mondo Rock, are bringing back their iconic style of music with the The 'Besto Mondo' tour playing concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

It promises to be 100 minutes of non-stop rock with the boys promising to play EVERY single released, including hits Come said the Boy, Cool World, State of the Heart and Summer of '81.

True fans will revel as the original band members front up again including Ross Wilson of 'Daddy Cool fame', joined by Eric McCusker, James Black, Paul Christie & Gil Matthews. This is the super group line up that Ross chose back in the day, whom are all still tremendously successful in their own right. A must-see event of classic Australian music and a prelude to the release of their Greatest Hits Collection.

In an interview for Weekend Notes with band member Paul Christie, he reminisced, "We toured in 2014 for the first time in 24 years, with the original line up and played to sold out shows around the country to rave reviews." He added "We are getting a whole new generation of fans coming to the concerts and having that same emotional connection, largely due to the Mondo Rock songs being constantly played on the radio."

They will be accompanied by '80s band Mi-Sex with their own style of highly energised rock and pop including Computer Games. A mix of Go West and Tears for Fears says Paul Christie.

See the both bands at these venues:

QPAC Brisbane 1 August
State Theatre Sydney - 21 August
Palais Theatre Melbourne 22 August
