The Go For Gold Foundation supports Australians living with Multiple Sclorosis (MS) by providing scholarships, to allow them to achieve their goals. One of the ways funds are raised for the Go For Gold Foundation is through the 24 Hour Mega Swim.

What is the 24 Hour Mega Swim?

The 24 Hour Mega Swim is a fun community event, in which teams comprising of no more than 15 swimmers set out to raise much-needed founds for Australians living with MS. Each team must have one swimmer in the pool for the entire 24 hours, but it's up to the teams to decide how exactly they swim it. The important thing is to have fun!

How do I get involved?

By going to the website.

Are there any age restrictions?

Anyone over 15 can register immediately, individuals under 15 will need consent from a parent or guardian.

What if I can't swim?

Don't stress! You can still volunteer as a member of the TeamMONASH Support Crew by contacting them at volunteer@sport.monash.edu.au

When and where is it held?

The Monash 24 Hour Mega Swim will be held on the 6th - 7th October, at the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool, Monash Sport, Building 1, Monash University, Clayton Campus. However the 24 Hour Mega Swim isn't just a Monash-run event - you can check out the website to see if there's a Mega Swim happening closer to you!
