I had heard that there was a new place opening in the Melbourne Building a few months back and I wanted to try it out but time simply ran away from me. So when it was time for me to pick a place for dinner. I knew where to go!

When we arrived for dinner at 6:30 pm, the place was a little empty but that was probably because it was a bit early. The waitress arrived pretty much as soon as we sat down and we both ordered a cocktail to start with.

Then it was down to the serious business of ordering food! There was so much on offer I had no idea what to pick but thankfully a friend had suggested the cheeseburger dumplings and the O.X cheeks. So we ordered those as well as the lotus chips, pulled duck bun and edamame.

First to arrive were the lotus chips and edamame and as the menu suggested, the edamame had a strange taste, but I loved the lotus chips, especially with the accompanying sauce and I could easily have ordered another. The cheeseburger followed next and they were just like a cheeseburger! It was amazing how they got the dumplings to taste exactly like a cheeseburger. The pulled duck bun was just as delicious with the bao bun and caramel ginger reduction.

The main dish of O.X cheek came next and it was so tender, that you could gently pull it apart with the spoons provided. After finishing the beef cheeks, we were still a little hungry so we ordered a serve of the deep fried pork dumplings and they were so good! Crunchy and full of flavour!

All of the dishes we had were lovely, but since I didn't get to try all the ones I wanted, I will definitely be returning for another visit or five!
