Recently opening their doors, the husband and wife team, Johnny Sun and Chloe Li have a clear vision for Momo: to let the fresh ingredients shine.
Chloe at front of house ensures their customers have a warm and fulfilling experience. The dishes and drinks are beautifully presented, the tea is fragrant and comforting and just like the space, the food is clean and contemporary.
Chef Sun designed the innovative menu by updating his favourite Chinese dishes to cater for today's salubrious diners. Healthy food doesn't mean less delicious; in fact, this may one of the few times when the healthier version is more tasty and satisfying. The Trio Mushroom with Okra dish is a prime example. Chef Sun heroes the natural flavours of these fresh ingredients culminating in a surprisingly delectable dish.
Momo specialises in dumplings. The fish dumplings (barramundi) are full of flavour and they offer fun alternatives on their "Specials" menu including XiaoLongBao, mini soup dumplings in silken skins in rainbow colours that even children will love. But don't just stop there, the KongPo Chicken is second to none, and there are a variety of rice, noodle, wok and stir fry dishes to choose from.
