Make The Most Of Your Time In Cotton Tree
A trip to Cotton Tree is hardly worth the time unless you stop by Mojo's Smooth Juicy Cafe at Cotton Tree. The location couldn't be more suited - they've done well to create such a nifty cafe in a relaxed environment.
Mojo's makes some of the best smoothies on the Sunshine Coast
After a day hanging out at Maroochydore Beach recently I took the short walk over to Cotton Tree just to eat at Mojo's. They're well known for their smoothies as the name of the cafe would have you believe. I ended up with a Milo-Mojo - banana, milo, milk, low fat frozen yoghurt and ice ($7.95 for medium, $8.95 for large) with a Grilled Chicken Fillet Burger - chicken fillet, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce and seeded mayonnaise ($8.90). That cold smoothie was just what the doctor ordered after a hot day in the sun and the burger did very well at filling me up and giving me the energy to keep on going.

The menu here is quite long - no matter your particular taste I'm sure you'll find something here that will make you drool. They have a wide range of fruit smoothies, ice based drinks, salads, sandwiches, pies and toasties. They also have a large breakfast menu with eggs, muesli and pancakes as well as coffees, ice creams and frozen drinks.
Found on the corner of Kings St and Cotton Tree Parade
Normally with a venue like this I'm usually keen to grab my food and run back to the beach but at Mojo's it's always worth sticking around. They've got comfy benches, plenty of chairs and lots of room. They're situated on the corner of Kings St and Cotton Tree Pde so it's quite comforting to just sit back and watch the world go by as you suck on your smoothie or munch on a burger. It's only a small thing but I also like the way they present the food. The table marker, instead of a number, is a toy sea animal on a stick. Very quirky. Dining out also has its advantages. Not only do they announce your food is ready, they do so over a megaphone which can be quite startling at first.

Mojo's is a good fit for the Cotton Tree area. Delicious food, great atmosphere and good character go a long way these days. A trip to Cotton Tree that doesn't involve at least a snack at Mojo's is just time wasted.
