Stacks Of Racks At Bargain-Basement Prices
It was to my delight that empty shop that used to be a fruit shop is now a clothing outlet. Imagine that…. being able to walk to the Mojo clothing clearance centre! If you'd like to find it, go to the St Helena Marketplace on Aqueduct Rd, St Helena.
It just opened yesterday and luckily I was there at the right time. I'm not the only one who was excited to see this. At 9:30 when the doors first opened there were many women ready to pick up a bargain. I heard one of the women saying that half the school was there and sympathising with a friend 'Poor Jo's on fruit duty this morning'.
The store is pretty large for a pop up shop and has many racks of clothes that at significantly discounted prices. They start from five dollars for singlet tops and cardigans. There are many dresses, tops, shorts, ladies dresses, winter coats, jackets, handbags, hats, jeans and handbags. They also have some men's items.
Despite my promise to myself that I wouldn't never buy another black top I could hardly resist the stylish no-iron, multi purpose t-shirt for only $10. I also managed to acquire an unlikely purchase of hot pants and they were only $20 (also in black)!
I asked the manager who said they expected this store to be open until the end of November so you have plenty of time to get in there. So you too can become the owner of yet another black garment that you didn't need. But hey, when does 'need' come into it when such a bargain is beckoning?
The Mojo outlet is conveniently located in the St Helens shopping centre so you can get your supermarket shopping, go to the butchers, deli, fish shop, chemist, bakery or have a coffee at Sweet Temptations.
Mojo also have a store at 1032 Main Road Eltham. Check out their Facebook site.
