You've all seen those fixie bikes in the streets of Melbourne somewhere. Whether they're rainbow coloured or simply a simple single speed bike, they always seem to look great.

Up until now, to own one of these bikes, it was up to you to source the parts and build it yourself. Whilst this is a great and rewarding task, we don't all have the time to build a bicycle. This problem has been solved with on-line stores.

For around $450-$500 you can buy a custom bicycle on the internet - you can choose everything from the colour to the seat, handle bars, tyres and even the chain. This is a great option for those of you who want to get out there and ride, without being weighed down by that mountain bike that sits in your shed. Let's be honest... none of us really need a mountain bike in the city.

Mojo bikes is one of these fantastic on-line shops and don't only sell single-speed bikes for those of you who love to coast down hills. They've even recently come out with the "3sixty," which was inspired by BMX bikes.

If you're not quite sold on the idea of buying a bike on-line then no worries. Until the 30th January 2013 there is a Mojo bike pop-up shop in Prahran where the staff are more than happy to choose something that suits you and you can also browse a couple of models.

Let's actually live up to our New Years resolutions in 2013 and get fit and healthy, whilst looking great at the same time.
