There is some cheeky monkey business going on at the Mogo Zoo - the only zoo in Australia with the largest collection of primates. There are eleven different primate species in total and it sure does get noisy and mischievous here!

There are also five big cats, five African natives, six reptiles, and six large and small mammals including the Eastern Grey kangaroo, which can grow up to two metres tall and of course, the very cute looking deer!

The zoo is committed to the survival of endangered animals and provides a home for over two hundred animals with more than 42 rare and exotic species.

There are animal encounters, keeper's talks and feed shows- please check the website for more information.

The zoo is wheelchair friendly with wheelchair access to all animal enclosures; there are picnic and BBQ areas as well as a cafe to enjoy a meal.

The zoo is located in the very picturesque historical mining town of Mogo, which is around 10km from Batemans Bay.

It is certainly a place to visit and experience animals in their natural habitat.
