Do you love ice cream?

Moevenpick is my favourite ice cream as it is smooth and delicious. A single scoop in a cup costs around five dollars. It's a guilty pleasure we can all afford every so often.

The shops sell ice cream in single, double or triple scoops, in a cup, cone or waffle basket. You can add a topping like nuts or sprinkles.

There are so many flavours to choose from: rum raisin, mint chocolate, white chocolate, Swiss chocolate, tiramsu, crème brulee, panna cotta, cappuccino and hazelnut. Or you could try maple walnut, expresso, caramel, macadamia, stacciatella, pistachio, brownie and cinnamon. Why would you select plain old vanilla?

If you are after a refreshing sorbet select from the following fruity flavours: raspberry, lemon and lime, mango, blackcurrant and cream, strawberry, and blueberry.

Moevenpick also sells hot drinks, smoothies, sparkling sorbet on mineral water and ice cream based milkshakes and thick shakes.

If you are feeling hungry and want a traditional dessert then you could order pancakes, waffles or banana split.

The shop assistant told me the most popular flavours were in order: chocolate, mint chocolate, and crème brulee in a cone. His personal favourites were maple and walnut or macadamia.

You can buy a take home tub of ice cream from the freezer. It's good to know here are no artificial flavours or colours in their products.

There are Moevenpick shops at the Brisbane Emporium, Broadbeach, Carindale, Garden City, Habourtown, North Lakes, Indooroopilly, Paddington, Portside, South Bank and Surfers Paradise.
