I'm a travelling mother of one, from the UK but now living in Indonesia. Looking forward to sharing day out ideas with you.
Explore what being a woman means in these modern times
Calling all women - and we mean all. No matter your nationality, age, style, sexuality, lifestyle or religion. Be you a gentle vegan or champagne-swinging carnivore. A yoga-selfie queen or practical stay-at-home mum. Or a female that doesn't quite fit with any label. This three-day festival is for you.
The programme follows the journey of a Modern Woman through the stages of her life from the young maiden on day one, to the ageing, motherhood phase - the Queen - on day 2. And the festival finishes on day 3 with the wise woman - the Crones - in mind. During this time there will be sessions offering the chance to discuss, question and celebrate the body, mind and soul of each journey.
But this festival is more than just talks and presentations; it covers the needs of every aspect of being a woman.
There are opportunities for private sessions with everyone from eating behaviour coaches to taro card readers. A stillness area for when you need a break from the demands of modern-day living. And daily ceremonies, ecstatic dance with females DJ's and singing circles to mention a few events.
To ensure you get plenty of me-time there are pampering opportunities, a supervised children's area and stalls to try and buy tasty treats and amazing crafts made by other women.
And speaking of women supporting other women there are performance and expressive art displays and exhibitions featuring female Balinese artists.
