I'm a freelance writer just returned to Tassie from 8 years on the mainland. I've been writing honestly about personal experiences since school and now I'm sharing my experiences, opinions, passions and wicked sense of humour with the world.

Gone are the days when museums were just a quiet place with old things you could look at but not touch. The Museum of Brisbane promotes learning and educates through exhibitions, workshops, talks, tours and children's activities.

Since 2003, the MoB has been highly regarded for their innovation and contemporary style winning several major awards and has twice been awarded the top honour at the prestigious Museums and Galleries National Awards with MoB Sundays.

Award winning innovation

Every Sunday morning, families can discover a new favourite story in story-telling sessions including Li Cunxin's children's book The Peasant Prince and many more inspiring stories.

Find your own rhythm with, professional ballet dancer, Anne Scott Wilson's exhibition: Every Day I wait.
Create your own kite, make a wish and send it flying as part of the Wishes Project at the MoB Maker station.

Be part of the audience and find out how one man went from poverty to world-famous artist in the summer show at Mao's Last Dancer the exhibition.
