Imagine this scenario - a valuable jewel has gone missing, and you are required to help solve this mystery of where it could be.

Teams will have four hours to solve up to 40 clues over a number of top-secret locations in Perth City. Your mission: to find the thief!

From the people who brought you The Perth Ramble, Mission ImPERTHable is a fresh and fun community event driven by technology, which can be played by people of all ages and fitness levels.

Are you a good sleuth? Can you put together the clues and come up with an answer? This is like a treasure hunt and is sure to be an exciting event as you explore Perth City in search of the valuable jewel.

Proceeds from the event go to the children at Ronald McDonald House, and they need your help! So get registered, get fundraising and find that thief!

Your mission for this event will start on Sunday 8th April, 2018 at 11.00 am, so collect your team together at 10.45 am, and listen out for your instructions.

You will receive your first "Mission" by the Commander-in-chief (the first one will be easy to find, but don't be fooled, they get harder!).

When you discover the answer, write it carefully and correctly into the app, and you will then receive your next mission!

There will be prizes for the following:

  • the best fundraising efforts
  • the best completion time
  • the best dressed

  • the grand prize will be awarded to the team who scores the highest points

  • As well as this exciting hunt, from 2.30 pm onward, there will be food vans, sausage sizzle, and entertainment back at the Supreme Court Gardens – by then, you will have earned this food!

All teams are required to return by 3.00 pm in order to be eligible to win any of the prizes.

    [b]FINER DETAILS**
  • Teams should be ready at Supreme Court Gardens in Perth by 10.45 am on the day.

  • The new Mission ImPERTHable App will be released a few weeks before the event and Team Captains will receive an email advising them to download the Mission ImPERTHable app. It would be a good idea if a second-team member also downloads the app.

  • You will need to do two important things before the day. Your team will need to work out a theme and get into costume. You will have far more fun if you are dressed in fancy dress, and you could also win the best costume award/prize.

  • This fun event is run by volunteers to raise money to help sick children. If you raise $196 between the whole team, (the cost of accommodating a family for a night at Ronald McDonald House) you will be eligible to win the prizes.

  • Make that extra effort and raise $500 as a team and you will receive a bonus minute off your score. In the past, this bonus has meant the difference between winning and not winning.

  • For the event, the team leader with the app will log in using the login provided. This will be the assigned "Agent name and password". When instructed by the Commander-in-chief, you will accept your first mission. When you find the answer and enter it correctly into the app and invited to accept the next mission.

  • The missions are generally able to be completed within about 3 hours, so you can stop on the way for drinks, coffee or lunch between missions, as you have a 4-hour time limit.

  • From 2.30 pm onward, there will fun and food back at Supreme Court Gardens with the 4 hours expiring at 3.00 pm.

  • There is no age limit for this hunt but the team leader must be over 18. For 'youth' teams of Scouts and Guides, six team members can play, and an adult supervisor can be the 7th person on the team.

  • The event is open to all - whether you are in a wheelchair or have a stroller - however, you will need to be able to stroll around for 3 to 4 hours.

  • The team that completes ALL missions in the least time (this excludes any time between missions sipping coffee or a cold drink) will win the grand prize.

  • Another great prize will be awarded to a random team on the day, and to increase your team's chance of winning a prize, make sure to fundraise and dress up.

  • The more missions you complete, the more points you are allocated toward winning, though you do not have to visit all, but this will lower your chance to win!

  • You will need a captain, and between 1 and five other "agents".

  • The family ticket price is for members who are related by birth or marriage; this means your team could consist of cousins, aunts, grandparents, husbands, wives, children - family tickets require a minimum of two children.

  • You can find out more, and register at this link.

There are also some details about Ronald McDonald House at this link, and know that your donations are going to a very worthwhile cause - our sick children.
