Mission Australia's annual Christmas Lunch in the Park celebrates 38 years this year. It's the biggest community event in Perth and you can help out.



How? Well, all volunteer positions are now filled but Mission Australia needs donations of money (click here to get involved) and gifts (drop them off unwrapped to 34 Hassler Road Osborne Park).

You could also get your workplace to fundraise for the event or become a sponsor. The money raised is needed for food, water, wrapping paper and entertainment.



Mission Australia's Christmas Lunch in the Park aims to make sure everyone has something special to do this December 25. It's for all walks of life and is held in Wellington Square in East Perth from 11.30am to 2pm. There are free buses running to and from Wellington Street Bus Station from 10.30am.

Thousands of people will share in a special lunch, fun and a visit from Santa thanks to the event.
