Hello Puerto Rican ladies!

Do you have what it takes to be the next Miss Puerto Rico NPRDP?

Her Majesty Francis Marie Cruz, Miss NPRDR 2011

The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP), Inc. is calling for the true heritage Puerto Rican ladies to compete for Miss Puerto Rico NPRDP 2012 title and to ride her float at the Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade being held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.[/B]

Miss Peurto Rico NPRDP 2012 will represent with pride Puerto Rican culture, Puerto Rican heritage, empowerment, tenacity, as well as love and sense of protection to the natural beauty of the Puerto Rico Island; values that are instilled in the young generation of Puerto Rican women.

This competition is all about of cultural pride, with goals of self-confidence, self-esteem and education - providing the contestants with an opportunity to learn about their roots and develop pride in their culture, language and heritage. Miss Puerto Rico NPRDP will serve as a role model and representative to the Puerto Rican community.

The Committee emphasized to those young ladies who may be interested in the Cultural Pageant competition, as contestants, that they must comply with the rules and regulations of the Pageant.

Requirements of Applicants:
18-25 years of age
Puerto Rican Heritage
English and Spanish Bilingual
Student or graduate
Single/ never married
No children

Saturday May 26, 2012 is private interview, evening gown, cultural competition, and on stage interview.

For the Miss Puerto Rico NPRDP and her Court, there will be many surprises & prizes including a trip to Puerto Rico!

On Sunday, June 10th 2012, along Fifth Avenue, Miss Puerto Rico NPRDP 2012 and her Court will aboard her own majestic float.
