Miss Marie is the new kid on the block. Located in Beetham Parade, opposite Rosanna train station, Miss Marie is the newest cafe in Rosanna.

Owned by Rosanna residents Paul and Vanessa, Miss Marie began trading in January 2011. Opening hours are from 7:30am - 4pm weekdays and 8am - 4pm on the weekend (kitchen closes 3pm). Their goal is to serve great coffee and great food, which they have certainly achieved with 5senses coffee and all-day breakfast, lunch and cakes.

The menu boasts items such as succulent brownie sundaes, sandwiches and pides, and creatively named breakfasts Miss Marine (poached eggs, smoked salmon and freshly made hollandaise) and Hey Bloke (you know who that brekky is for). Cakes and muffins are baked onsite daily, and lunches on offer vary weekly. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. Coffee, sandwiches and cakes are available to take away, which is handy for those on their way to the nearby trains.

Miss Marie's seating caters for groups of all sizes, with tables ranging from 2-10 people. So whether you're looking to share a quiet lunch with your lover, or gather a whole group of mates together, you're sure to be comfortable at Miss Marie. There is also the option of outside seating.

The staff are laid-back, as is the music. Their decor is unique, described by Vanessa as Retro/Vintage/Industrial. The furniture is handmade from recycled timber, aside from the intermittent black and yellow tables and metal chairs, and an old door hangs on the back wall, attached to which is the specials board. Paintings by local artists line the walls, demonstrating Paul and Vanessa's desire to support the local community.

Named after owner Vanessa (her middle name is Marie), Miss Marie is warmly welcomed to the Rosanna neighbourhood.
