Tortillas packed with beef, scrambled egg, avocado, corn and more are not your usual cafe fare, but made for an excellent lunch. Every ingredient was perfect, from the sublime buttery corn to the rich scrambled eggs. I would highly recommend this dish no matter what time of day it is.
Tacos are a mainstay at Miss Jackson, though they frequently change up their ingredients.
The interior of the cafe has something of an industrial chic vibe. It is split into several rooms, so go at a quiet time for a private dining experience. You can sit by the roaring fireplace for a cosy bite to eat, or enjoy the sun in your face in the adorable outdoor courtyard.
Miss Jackson is on the pricey side for a cafe- expect to pay around $15 to $20 for your meal. However, I would say that it is well worth it; with friendly service, lovely atmosphere and a mouth-watering menu in a vibrant location, Miss Jackson is the perfect exemplar of a Melbourne cafe.
